Riverview, Penkridge
This £6.5m Extra Care facility consists of 41 self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom apartments complete with a communal orangery, residents lounge, activity room and fully equipped catering kitchen. The building replaces a former obsolete care facility and now provides state of the art facilities in the centre of the Village of Penkridge.

White Ladies Close, Worcester
This urban regeneration project on a confined brownfield city centre site comprised the design and construction of a 37 bed Extra Care facility together with ancillary communal facilities and associated external works for Abbeyfields. The completed scheme has rejuvenated the area by replacing the previous derelict industrial units with a purpose built care facility complete with facilities for the wider community.

Meadow Court, Worcester
This Extra Care development is situated in an elevated position with panoramic views of the cathedral City of Worcester. The mixed tenure development includes 12 shared ownership and 45 rented apartments of which 5 were specifically designed in accordance with the Wheelchair Housing Design Guide. The facility also includes a library / hobby room, café, restaurant, hair salon, cinema room and 45 parking spaces.

St Andrew’s Hospice, Grimsby
St Andrew’s Hospice’s twenty year old premises were in need of updating and additional adult bedrooms required. The project was to rationalise the accommodation across the existing site to enable the Hospice to continue to meet the growing needs of the community. A new building housing twelve modern adult bedrooms, a service block, entrance/reception/dining area and a Day Therapy unit was constructed as the first phase on the limited site whilst the hospice continued to operate normally.

An 82 bed Extra Care scheme in the heart of Penkridge market village providing high quality independent living for local people with wellbeing/leisure facilities not only for residents, but also the wider community. Pencric challenges convention in terms of opportunity for residents to remain part of the community, living near to their families in their own homes with individual help/support at hand if required, whilst providing the wider community with use of the wellbeing/leisure facilities

St. Luke’s Close, Cannock
The scheme was a partnership between Housing Plus and the Department of Health to provide supported living units within established residential areas of South Staffordshire. The units provide a vital service in enabling people with specific physical and mental disabilities to reside in residential style accommodation units rather than becoming long term hospital patients.

LACE Housing’s commitment to older people in Lincolnshire is to ensure they have access to a high standard of specialist housing, care and support services.
