Thornton-Firkin were engaged as Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators for this Category B fit out of 67,000 sq ft for a leading management consultancy on two floors of a prestige multi tenanted refurbished and extended Category A office building in the West End of London.

The client was relocating its three London based offices into one location. The fit out contract was a traditional JCT contract tendered in limited competition to fit out contractor. Bills of Quantities prepared by Thornton-Firkin based on a detailed consultant design, negotiated the tenants works undertaken in advance by the Landlord’s Category A contractor. The contract duration was 16 weeks with sectional completion.
Thornton-Firkin were also involved with the procurement of the office furniture and cost management of the clients overall budget including direct contracts for data infrastructure, AV and Security. The project was delivered on time and within budget.
