Lincoln Cathedral
Lincoln Cathedral is one of the finest medieval buildings in Europe and stands as a prominent landmark which can be seen for miles around the City of Lincoln. Since 1992 we have provided Cost Consultancy Services to the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln on many fabric conservation and restoration projects grant funded by English Heritage.

These projects have, in the main, been carried out by the Cathedral's own 'Works Department' which preserves traditional skills through its team of stonemasons, glaziers, plumbers, carpenters, conservators and archivists.
Two of the most memorable and interesting projects for which we were commissioned are the £2m Dean's Eye rose window in the North Transept and the conservation and repair of the Romanesque frieze within the west front of the Cathedral. Other projects have included masonry conservation and repairs to external walls and parapets and timber and leadwork repairs to roofs and associated structures.
