Thornton-Firkin were engaged as Employer’s Agent/ PM, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators for this Category B fit out of 39,500 sq ft for a leading international financial services business on three floors in a multi tenanted new office building in Manchester City Centre.

The client was relocating its three Manchester based offices into one location. The fit out contract was let on a design and build contract tendered in limited competition to a fit out contractor with its own in house design and delivery teams. The contract duration was 10 weeks with sectional completion and an advanced works contract to install the data infrastructure. Thornton-Firkin were also involved with the procurement of the office furniture and cost management of the client's overall budget including direct contracts for AV, Security and Moves. The project was delivered on time and within budget.
