Old School Avenue & Queens Court, Oundle

Working in partnership with Kier Living we facilitated an introduction to Cross Keys Homes which resulted in the successful negotiation of the Section 106 affordable housing obligations on this joint venture development with Grace Homes. Located in the heart of the historic market town on Oundle this development consists of 86 dwellings and the construction of a new Public Open Space complete with pedestrian links to the town square.

The Section 106 obligation consisted of 25 family dwellings which were split between shared ownership and rented tenures and all achieved a Code for Sustainable Level 4 rating by incorporating PV Panels with local sourced sustainable materials including natural stonework and timber cladding. The dwellings were designed to sympathetically compliment the local vernacular of Herne Lodge which is a listed building within the development boundary that was converted into four executive apartments. As well as facilitate the Development Agreement, Thornton Firkin LLP also provided Purchasers Agent and Clerk of Works Services to Cross Keys Homes on this JV scheme that was completed on budget and prior to the milestone completion dates.
