Having a mixture of rented and shared ownership properties the scheme was built for W M Housing Group.

The scheme was specifically designed to provide all the facilities of modern living whilst blending with the local vernacular of the surrounding buildings. The 33 mixed tenure dwellings which were fitted with photovoltaic solar panels also achieved a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 rating.
The rural setting, whilst idyllic did prove to be challenging for the provision of drainage and mains services to the site, which resulted in a series of innovative design solutions being employed, together with exemplary resident liaison whilst off site connections were completed on third party land including an operation on Secondary school play fielding.
