This scheme comprised the design and construction of 11 no. new build affordable rented dwellings which were designed to meet Lifetime Homes to cater for residents with restricted mobility, a requirement which is fully supported by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).

The brownfield site was previously a lock-up garage court and was bounded by rear gardens which were acquired to accommodate the new development.
Due to the courtyard style development, large windows were incorporated to the front elevations to maximise the daylight into the flats and a sustainable comprehensive soft landscaping was introduced to enhance the overall ecological value of the development.
The principles of Secured by Design have been achieved and a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 rating obtained
