We are pleased to announce that the recently completed Rural Housing Development of thirteen dwellings for Waterloo Housing Group at Brant Broughton in Lincolnshire was voted the winner of the Best Residential Development at the East Midlands Forum for the Built Environment Awards 2017.

The project, for which Thornton-Firkin acted as Employers Agent and Principal Designer, was designed by Hallsall Lloyd Partnership and built by Geda Construction. The judges said “This development managed to achieve a high level of sustainability whilst not losing aesthetic appeal. The retention of existing site features and characteristics is admirable and shows a good understanding of its sense of place”.
