Bishop Burton College Riseholme College Campus
Thornton-Firkin have provided Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultant and CDM Services to Bishop Burton College on it’s new state of the art Riseholme College Showground Campus in Lincoln. The £25 million project opened it’s doors in September 2015 and is the first stand alone agricultural based campus developed in the UK for decades.

The new campus provides some of the finest land based facilities in the country. The development was completed in two phases. Phase 1 comprised three bespoke buildings and all associated infastructure: an Innovation Centre featuring modern teaching facilities an LRC and full catering and dining provision; an Animal Science Centre comprising animal handling and research laboratory space; and a Precision Agricultural Workshop comprising vehicle workshops, teaching space and arboricultural specialist areas.
Phase 2 comprised a state-of-the art Sports Centre including extensive indoor sports hall and full size external 4G football/rugby pitch all delivered to Sport England standard and a bespoke Health and Nutrition Building with exhibition space, teaching accommodation and cutting edge food technology laboratories.
