Located in the heart of Newark, Nottinghamshire this £3m development for MF Strawson Ltd comprised of a 1,300m2 doctors' surgery spread over two floors above 3 retail units providing 11,000 square feet of retail space.

Thornton-Firkin were appointed as Employer's Agent, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Coordinator for the project which was procured via a single stage negotiated Design and Build contract.
The doctors' surgery achieved a BREEAM 'VERY GOOD' rating through the use of modern construction techniques to achieve high ‘U’ values and energy efficient services installations. An EPC of 40 was attained.
The project was delivered on time and within budget over a 48 week period including decant.
